"spoken like a native cape codder"
Naw, I'm one of them damn summer people. You know, one of those selfish types that wishes there was a gate to get out of the car and close after going across the bridge on a Friday night.
Have to admit, though I don't fish it that much, in january and febuary I do get into the speculation game about what changes the winter is bringing to the Chatham flats. This year will probably be significantly different. My guess is that early fishing (though June)will be ok. Without that influx of cool atlantic water it obviously probably won't be worth taking that mid-week day off in late july or august to try to figure out how to get those fish with lockjaw to take a fly.
