I had the kayak out there one day last August and clocked a water temp of 75F. I almost capsized when I spooked several hundred stripers aparently doing "nothing" in about 5 feet of water over a bed of eel grass.

I picked up two keeper size fish on a G.P. fished really slow just above the tips of the eel grass.

Blue sky, bright sun, warm water who would'a thunk it?
