The area of the Wood River south of Route 165 is probably your best bet. Pull in to the parking lot at the Check Station west side of the river south of Route 165. Take the trail alongside the river south until you find a spot you like.
Maybe you'd prefer Breakheart Pond, just follow Frosty Hollow Road north off Route 165 and you can't miss it.
