The Palmer used to have some good trout fishing, I haven't fished it in about 10 years, you can fish the pool off of Danforth St, be carefull the pool is deep,the back of that pool toward 44 is a nice section of the river, also the little pool on the other side of Danforth is also good, but with all the rain we have had, I bet it is real deep, you can also fish the west branch off of Carpenter st. You can fish for Shad at the Shad Factory, I can't remember the name of the street but it's off Prov. St when you go over the river, take your next left look for a narrow dirt road on your left maybe a mile down, it is between two houses, there are some high tention wires there you shouldn't have a hard time finding it, the Shad should be showing up in a few weeks.
