Took a day trip 2 weeks ago up to the West Branch of the Delaware and had a great time. Hired a guide with a friend and floated a good portion of the river. Caught a good sized smallmouth right away but had to wait to mid afternoon for the trout to rise. Saw plenty of fish but they arent easy to fool. Ended up catching a couple of good sized brown tout on a wet fly swing using 2 flies. Had a great time. As I had only been there once before the floattrip opened my eyes to a great many spots that are accesible by foot. Im looking forward to going back. There is a nice spot run by the West Branch Anglers where you can stay, eat and take a float trip from.My buddie thought that he was out west. This is a great spot to try. Cheers, Mike
