Both can be. Blackstone better fished in waders... The Pond at Melville is high right now and waders allow you to walk down the flooded road on the west side. There are many fish in the shallows and sometimes on the road itself. If you want to be on dry land there is a dock on the north east corner and a few breaks in the trees on the east side. The pond has fish everywhere.
